A downloadable game for Windows

Welcome to Silent Project (Placeholder name)!

This is a post apocalyptic, old school wave based defend the wall, lone survivor type of game. Sprinkle in some rougelite elements and you've got one weird game. The objective is simple, start weak and end overpowered. You want some examples of the firepower you will have in your hands?

Of course you do, lets see what we'll have when I'm finished:

  • 3 types of machine guns with individual upgrades
  • Different types of throwable objects from grenades to an orbital strike
  • 4 types of automated turrets for when you need a break from the slaughter
  • Different types of ammo for when you ain't killing fast enough
  • Different types of consumables, for when you just need more of something

Running low on grape soda and sardines, it's time make a quick run to the gas station around the corner. The weather....unusually overcast and the townsfolk....unusually standing in the street growling at you. Nevertheless, duty calls. The clerk watches hungrily from the counter. He won't accept payment for the purple go juice or the canned fish, instead he takes a bite out the air and vomits bile on the counter. He's a zombie! Glancing outside...everyone is a zombie. The day has come, the time is now! The mounted LMG calls from the bunker, a belt-fed siren song of destiny. MOW. THEM. DOWN.

This game is still in super super super early development, like I'm just now on v0.1.0 and it's been a little over a month. I'm a solo developer, I work full-time and also in school. I've had some amazing support from some really good friends who have pitched in on some aspects. I couldn't have gotten here without some help from xtilly5000, Teemo_Support, Chet, and Pseudo. If you're seeing this page, this game is constantly updated, preprepre-alpha, and EVERYTHING is subject to change.

To keep up with the times, I will be posting patch notes as often as I can. But I can't do this without you, the players. Attached to the main menu are links to our discord server, my trello page, and to the itch.io page. Ingame you can hit ESC to have an option to quit to desktop or quit to the Google Forms where I live and breath off feedback. Please take your time and read the Loading Screen for more up to date information on the current expectations of the game. If you're on the fence on trying this game out, go here for the same information but may not be as up to date.

Thank you and let me know what you think, I don't bite. See you over in the discord fellow survivors.
